J. Scott Cade
Founder & Mangaging Director
Scott works with his clients to develop solutions to their most difficult and pressing strategic issues, utilizing experience from across a wide range of industries and problem types. With nearly thirty years of consulting experience, he has worked extensively in both service and manufacturing sectors, serving clients in banking, insurance, professional services, automotive, aerospace, industrials, consumer durables and luxury goods. He is an expert in strategy, cost transformation and performance improvement with deep skills in operations, competitive cost, growth, product/service pricing, risk management, sourcing and supply chain, and mergers and acquisition. Clients served range in size from Fortune 500 to middle-market and private equity/family office owned firms. Prior to founding CCP, Scott was with Booz Allen Hamilton/Booz & Company/PwC Strategy&/PwC for nearly twenty-five years, based in the firm’s Chicago, Amsterdam, London, New York and Cleveland offices.
Scott was a member of the global leadership teams for PwC’s $14B Advisory business and Booz & Company. As Managing Director with PwC’s Global Advisory Clients & Markets team, he focused on strategic objectives around growth, improved profitability, and greater share while in parallel developing new global pricing practices and processes. Scott served Booz & Company’s first CEO as Global Chief of Staff, executing the firm’s strategic agenda, including all organic and inorganic growth activities, major change initiatives, and performance improvement efforts while serving as Secretary to the firm’s Executive Committee. He subsequently served as Senior Director of Global Business Services, leading a team of more than 100 staff that provided shared services to business units worldwide while delivering day-to-day management of over $500M in firm controllable expenses. He also had revenue management and pricing responsibilities for Booz & Company’s top 300 global clients.
Scott was involved in every major acquisition/asset sale at BAH/Booz & Company. He led operational de-integration of BAH’s commercial and government businesses in the sale of Booz Allen Hamilton’s government business to Carlyle, as well as the standup of the new global corporate core, re-branding and market launch of Booz & Company. He subsequently played an integral role in the strategic acquisitions of Katzenbach Partners and Management Engineers. Scott was also a key member of the team providing due diligence and integration in the sale of Booz & Company to PwC.
For two years, Scott was a Managing Director at one of his clients, Barclays Capital, the global investment bank of Barclays PLC. As Global Head of Operational integrity, he had responsibility for all aspects of operational risk, information security and continuity of business. His remit also included oversight of new product introductions and joint ventures, as well as an internal consulting team focused on performance and process improvement.
Scott’s extensive international experience includes eight years living and working in Europe, and delivering on assignments in 36 countries, while providing direct support of operations in an additional 10 countries. He is particularly adept at forming and leading multi-cultural, cross border teams to deliver results for complex, geographically dispersed clients.
Scott earned his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and his BA from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to business school, Scott worked at Andersen Consulting., now Accenture, where he designed and implemented technology solutions for financial services. Directly after his undergraduate studies, Scott served for four years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, participating in more than 24 months of forward operational deployments, including five months of combat duty in the Persian Gulf. He was awarded two Navy Achievement Medals for superior performance of duties.
Scott and his wife reside in the Cleveland area, where he is active in philanthropic and community efforts. He serves on the board of MAGNET, the region’s federally and state sponsored non-profit Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP) that brings together expertise to help manufacturers grow and thrive. Scott is former vice chair and current emeritus board member of the Julie Billiart Network of Schools, serving the needs of students with autism spectrum disorders and other learning differences. He also previously served as a board member of the Shaker Lakes Nature Center.

Margaret A. Kashmir
Margaret A. Kashmir is an innovative and senior strategic communications leader specializing in helping executive teams navigate high-risk situations such as deals, reputation challenges, and media crises. A Harvard Business School alumnus and one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 business leaders in 2010, she spent a decade as an award-winning national journalist in Canada.
Margaret was an investigative reporter, producer, and anchor for two of Canada’s national broadcasters, CBC and CTV. She parlayed this experience into a career in media, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications in the public and private sectors. She has held senior communications and leadership positions at a university, a gambling corporation, a technology start-up, a global management consulting firm, and a non-profit helping women advance in business.
Margaret currently works as a consultant helping CEOs and companies use communications to fuel transformations. She studied French at Université Sainte-Anne, law and journalism at Carleton University, and in 2008 she completed the PLD program at Harvard Business School. Margaret lives in New Jersey with her husband and son. She is a member of the Longhouse Reserve Junior Council in the Hamptons, an active mentor to young women in business, and an angel investor with a focus on health & wellness start-ups.
